Howard County Doc Returns Home To Open Practice; 
Open House Planned &  New Patients Welcome

Columbia, MD—Howard County native, Lindiwe Greenwood, MD, is pleased to announce that she recently opened her new office in Columbia, Renaissance Primary Care & Wellness Group, LLC.     

To commemorate the occasion, Dr. Greenwood is hosting a ribbon-cutting open house on Thursday, December 13, 4pm-7pm.   The media and public are invited.   The new office is located at 5500 Knoll Drive North, Suite 250.  While the event is free, reservations are requested by December 8 (410-772-8001).

Dr. Greenwood, a board-certified family practitioner, offers a full spectrum of care for patients aged 7 and up, including:  wellness care, weight management, care and management for chronic illnesses (especially diabetes and hypertension), physicals, counseling, in-office care for minor injuries or procedures, and care for patients when they are ill.

A resident of Columbia, Dr. Greenwood knew at an early age she wanted to be a doctor.    While she was at Hammond High, where she graduated with honors, she won the Maryland State Science Fair and was accepted into the Echols Scholar Program at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.  She completed her medical school education at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.  

Prior to opening her Columbia practice, Dr. Greenwood cared for patients at practices in College Park and Baltimore.  She is affiliated with Howard County General Hospital and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Service Sorority.

Renaissance Primary Care & Wellness Group accepts most insurances and Medicare.  The practice is a member of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce.
